At Musgrave MarketPlace we are proud of our Irish heritage and our long-standing commitment to supporting Irish suppliers, the Irish economy and Irish jobs.
Musgrave have been supporting Irish suppliers since the company was founded in the 19th century and today we support over 1,000 Irish suppliers. This includes long-standing relationships with Ireland’s best known and established suppliers, but we also have championed smaller, local suppliers, particularly food producers. In Musgrave MarketPlace we have given Irish suppliers the opportunity to develop exclusive partnerships with us across our own brand ranges, from fresh meats and fruit & veg to non-food and disposables.
Musgrave and our retail partners are responsible for almost €7 billion of economic activity annually in Ireland. Almost all the fruits of this activity are reinvested in Ireland, supporting local jobs and enterprises.
Musgrave are also Ireland’s biggest private sector employer; through group employees, retail partner businesses and wholesale operations we employ 35,000 people. At MarketPlace we currently employ over 850 people across our business.
